Synopsis of Gladiator II:
The narrative unfolds with Simba (voiced by Donald Glover) and Nala (voiced by Beyoncé) as they prepare for the arrival of another cub. Unexpectedly, they disappear into the forest, leaving their daughter Kiara (voiced by Blue Ivy Carter) in the care of Timon the meerkat (voiced by Billy Eichner) and Pumbaa the warthog (voiced by Seth Rogen). Concurrently, Rafiki (voiced by John Kani) shares the backstory of Mufasa (voiced by Aaron Pierre) and Scar (voiced by Kelvin Harrison Jr.) with Kiara. Notably, the film presents a challenge to Disney’s established narrative by proposing that Simba’s ancestry does not trace back to the Pride Lands, thereby subverting the conventional storyline.
